Edubooking student Cabinet Add-on allows the website owners to comply with the GDPR requirements by providing students with a possibility to access, manage and delete their personal details and courses list in a student account.

Let your students return to your website at any time for managing their profile details and bookings that have been made. They’ll be able to:

  • Update the name, email address, phone number, student information (if Students Information add-on is active), WP password, and other fields;
  • Delete the student’s profile;
  • View booking history;
  • View course details (status, price, instructor, courses, etc.);
  • Reschedule or cancel a course

User Experience Title

With Edubooking student Cabinet Add-on your student can manage their personal details and upcoming courses right on your website.

Once you’ve added a student Cabinet to your web page and your students are logged in with their WP credentials, they’ll be able to:

  • view, update and delete their personal information;
  • remove their profile;
  • view booking history;
  • see all details of the course (date, time, instructor, status, price, etc.)
  • reschedule or cancel their bookings.

Setup and configuration

1. Purchase and activate student Cabinet add-on in Plugins.

2. Go to WP Dashboard > Pages. Create a new page or select an existing one, where you want to add a student cabinet too.

3. Click on Add student Cabinet button.

In the Gutenberg editor, click the + icon and select Edubooking block. Then select “Edubooking – Student Cabinet” to insert the shortcode to your page.

4. You’ll be offered to check the tabs and columns you want to add to a student cabinet.

5. Note that your student will be able to log into their  Cabinet only with their WordPress credentials. Make sure you’ve enabled Create WordPress user account for Students in Settings > Students. 

The student Cabinet is designated for the student with associated WP user accounts will be able to access the cabinet. Please check in the student’s menu if the WP user account you are logged in with is associated with any account (User column).
