Edubooking Compound Services Add-on will let you bundle existing courses into one complex course that students will be able to book as any ordinary single course.

Features:

Courses grouped into bookable sequences: each compound course can include several simple courses and wait/preparation windows between courses.
Several instructors involved in one booking: all separate courses within one complex course can be performed by different instructors.
Efficient use of instructor hours: each one is only booked for their part of the course.
Seamless integration into booking experience: complex courses are displayed in a booking form just like other simple courses.
With Edubooking Compound Services Add-on, you can combine existing courses with spare time to create a separate complex service that can be booked by your students as any ordinary course.

User Experience

Compound Courses will be added to the courses drop-down menu in your online booking form just like other courses. All the students have to do is to pick up a date and time from the list of available time slots that have already been calculated by Edubooking system to accommodate all of the course segments.

Each course within a complex booking can be performed by an individual course instructor who will be booked only for their part of the course.

Students are not able to choose instructors for each part of the compound course. The system displays and allows to choose an instructor only for the first service within the complex course, other instructors are assigned automatically.

Setup and configuration

1. Purchase, download and activate Compound Services Add-on in Plugins.

2. To create a compound course, go to courses tab in Edubooking menu, click add course and select compounds.

3. You’ll see a drop-down menu at the bottom of the course card. Choose courses from the list and include spare time if needed. Waiting times between courses will be considered by Edubooking system as free time slots for other bookings.

If you’d like to use a course only as a part of a complex booking, make it unavailable for booking directly by setting its visibility to private.

Compound courses can be booked only via the front-end booking form. The administrator cannot create the course with compound booking in the backend but is able to add each course as a part of the compound course manually.
